Vacation Bible School
June 3-7
5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Things are gearing up for our best Utica Community Bible School EVER! However, volunteers are still needed. If you can help, even just a little bit, please contact Judy Walker through the church office at 601-885-8806
Vacation Bible School Prayer Wall
This year in VBS our kids will go back in time to visit Babylonia, where Daniel and his friends lived during the exile. To prayerfully prepare for that week, we have set up a Babylonian wall in the Family Life Center with the name of every child and worker that we expect at VBS. Everyone in the church can be a part of Bible School by taking a name from the wall and covering that child or worker in prayer.
We've tried to include the names of all the children from the three churches who might be coming, but we have probably left off a few. If you see that you child or grandchild's name is missing, please let us know so we can add it.
Please take at least one name (perhaps more!) to pray for, so that this time of teaching and outreach will bless many hearts and lives.
New Opportunity!
In recent weeks, several of our elderly members have been under the weather and have found themselves in need of a little extra help. If you are sometimes available to take someone to the doctor, pick up a few groceries, go by the Post Office and pick up mail, or do other small errands, just sign the list in the office with your name, phone number, and times when you are available.
Don’t worry if we call and you have to say no because of your own responsibilities. With several people involved we should always be able to find at least one who can meet a need.
