Through a cutaway, one can see inside the house, where the mother says to her husband, "Listen! That's PJ crying!" And sure enough, PJ is standing in the middle of the yard crying because one of the other children has taken his teddy bear.
A mother's ears are attuned to the sounds of her children, because she is sensitive to their needs. Are our ears attuned to the cries of the people around us? Are we sensitive to their need for Christ? The most effective evangelism is done by those who care enough to LISTEN.
Let us be a church that listens!
