This Is Our Finished Worship Center!
Putting it all back together
Installing the carpet and recovering the pews!
New Doors!
(11.08.11)
Painting is finished and the doors are installed. Now we're ready for the carpet!
(10.24.11)
Special Offering will be received on November 13 for the remaining projects we have in the plan. Please pray about how the Lord would have you give to this effort.
New carpet is scheduled to be installed the week of November 13. On the evening of the 13th, it will be "all hands on deck" as we move our pews from the Sanctuary to the Family Life Center. We will need at least a couple of trailers to help with moving them, and every able-bodied person we can find.
(10.03.11)
The upstairs painting is nearly completed, with downstairs scheduled next. The two side entrance doors are installed and look fantastic!
A total of $170.00 was given this past Sunday as memorials, and went towards the Building Fund.

Upstairs painting is almost done. We will be able to use the classrooms this Sunday. The photo above shows you the work being done on the new side-entrance doors. (Click on the photo to see a larger version.) They are beautiful! New physical doors on our church should be symbolic for us--that God will open up new doors of ministry. He's not through with us, folks!
(9.26.2011)
The painters are here!
(9.23.2011)
The new doors are scheduled to be installed September 30 and October 1. Carpet installation is scheduled for the week of November 7.
(9.14.11)
The new lights are completed! Just a little cleanup to do. The photo above just does not capture how bright it is. No more gloomy corners. So many are excited about this and can't wait to see it that they've been stopping by during the day to see them! The new lights are absolutely beautiful.
Next: installing our new doors. They are on order and should arrive soon.
(9.13.11)
Click on each picture to see a larger version. The pictures above are, from left to right:
Left: First of the new lights in the sanctuary. You can tell from the light on the ceiling that this is going to make a BIG difference!
Middle: Moving pews so the scaffolding will fit.
Right: Day Two of the new lighting project. The row of new lights visible in the photo is still wrapped in plastic. You can still see a row of the older lights behind them--what a contrast! The new lights look as though they've always been there! Thank You, Lord, for the blessings You pour out on Your people.
(9.12.11)
The electricians are here working in the sanctuary! Our new lights will be installed in time for our Morning Worship service of September 18, 2011! Wednesday night service will be held in the Family Life Center this week only (9.14.11).
We have also received $510.00 in memorials.
(9.8.11)
The electricians are scheduled to begin installing the new lights in the sanctuary on Monday, September 12!!!! Wednesday evening's service will be in the Family Life Center.
(9.6.11)
We have received $990.00 in memorials for the building fund.
The new lights for the sanctuary have been ordered and will be installed shortly after they arrive.
July 31, 2011
Renovation Projects passed overwhelmingly
Now the work begins!
The vote was taken July 31, 2011, and passed overwhelmingly. But we should still be bathing each of these projects in prayer. Our pastor urges us to see this as more than just new lights in the sanctuary, new carpet, etc. "This is not a social club--this is the church of Almighty God," states our pastor. "We should see this overall package as proper stewardship--taking care of what God has given us, and providing a clean, Christ-honoring worship facility for the future."
Please check back here on a regular basis for updates on our progress, as well as photos of the work being done. We'll also keep you updated on the status of our offerings for these projects.
